After 20 years in the financial industry, Brad Clark has gained invaluable knowledge to bring the best solutions possible to each and every one of his clients. Seasoned in his field, Brad has earned both his Series 65 registration and Life & Health licenses. Brad specializes in retirement planning and wealth accumulation, setting each of his clients up for a secure future through customized solutions. Brad’s main goal in his business is to help each of his clients find stability in a volatile market, creating a straight path for their financial comfort. Brad is the Founder and CEO of Solomon Financial; his greatest passion in business is watching his clients flourish through quality financial planning.

Brad is married to his lovely wife, Melissa Clark, and they have two children- Garret and Maryna. In his free time, you can find Brad doing CrossFit or playing soccer. He is involved in his church, and values his faith above all else.

John Rafferty

Investment Advisor Representative

John Rafferty graduated from Indiana University in 1988 with a Geography Degree. He immediately went into a career working in economic development. During which, John learned to live on a tight budget. Others were always in awe of how little he stressed about money and how great he was at managing his budget while still making room for extras. Then, he began to start to help some of his friends with their own budgets. His love for helping his friends with their finances propelled him into the financial advising field.

As a financial professional, he strives to make the complex financial world more simple to understand, leading clients into the best decisions for their families. As a specialist in retirement planning and estate conservation, he can help with many topics, such as, IRAs and Roth IRAs, investments, risk management, life insurance, disability income insurance, wills, trusts, and probate. He is committed to all his clients long-term and tailors financial products to their individualized needs.

Outside of work, John is a life-long resident of central Indiana where he is married to Stephanie. Him and Stephanie have three adult daughters, Amy, Sarah, and Jaclyn. He enjoys many hobbies, including making things in his workshop, reading, camping, and golfing.

Annie Thomas

Administrative Assistant

At Solomon Financial, Annie is the base to making sure things run smoothly for both the office advisors and the clients. Annie believes that personal connection is the key to a successful partnership and she takes pride in crafting personal relationships with each of their clients. Taking the steps to successful financial planning can be scary for anyone, which is why she works hard to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone in the office.

Outside of work, you can find Annie spending time with her husband and 3 amazing children. Together they enjoy traveling to the beach and cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Annie’s hometown St. Petersburg, FL. When home, Annie loves to cook, bake, and train for her next triathlon.

Corey Bates

Investment Advisor Representative

Corey Bates is an Investment Advisor Representative at Solomon Financial, where he helps individuals and families build long-term financial plans to reach life’s biggest goals. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis, along with a Series 65 license.

After spending four years in corporate financial planning, Corey transitioned into personal finance to make a more direct impact on individuals and families in his community. He enjoys working with young families and believes that having a plan is essential at every stage of life. With a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving, Corey is highly motivated to help clients build long-term plans and is committed to walking alongside them for years to come as they work toward their goals.

Originally from Tennessee, Corey and his wife, Anna, now call Carmel, Indiana home. In his free time, Corey enjoys playing golf and chess—despite claiming he’s not particularly skilled at either. Having grown up playing a variety of sports, still loving to keep up with each. That being said, yes, he did see the game last night.

Bruce Maginn

Partner

Bruce Maginn is a Partner at Solomon Financial with a passion for helping clients navigate financial challenges. As a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, he was drawn to the financial industry by his belief that anyone, regardless of background, can create wealth by understanding how money works. Bruce prides himself on easing clients’ financial anxiety by creatively finding solutions that serve their best interests. He has learned that amortized debt and compounding assets work in opposite directions, a concept that, while often overlooked, plays a crucial role in personal finance.

In his daily work, Bruce meets with clients, gathers updated financial information, and develops personalized plans that align with their goals and risk tolerance. His main focus is his clients and admires their perseverance and love for their families and causes. Bruce enjoys seeing the relief on clients’ faces when they understand their financial situation and how to improve it.

Born and raised in Indiana, Bruce now lives in Carmel, IN surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family. When not spending time with his family and clients, Bruce enjoys exercise through walking, biking, and lifting weights, along with sitting down to watch a good football game.
